Mantovani Radio Interviews

The following are part of an interview of Mantovani by popular New York City radio show host, Martin Block for the USA National Guard. Martin Block played a lot of Mantovani on his "Make Believe Ballroom" program on New York's WABC AM radio station (77 Kilohertz). At one time the webmaster of this site enjoyed a correspondence with Martin Block regarding Mantovani. Listening to Mr. Block interviewing Monty was like listening to an old friend. I lived in New Jersey within range of WABC's transmitting antenna located (I believe) on the top of the Empire State Building.

This site addition was made possible by Mantovanian Rich Cox. I am very grateful to Rich for letting us use the sound snippets from the program. Some of the files are quite large and may take a while to download using a dial-up connection. 

You should know that Segment One file size is 4,138 Kb ; Segment Two is 4,564 Kb; Segment Three is 4,282; and Segment Four is 7,883 Kb so be patient for the MP3 downloading. All segments are monaural and have a relatively low sample rate because of server space, etc. Someday I'd like to have DSL.
